There is a very big question out there which asks that why do NorthEastern people like K pop , K drama , K world or anything Korean related soo much and some theories are out there stating because of same physical features and all which is not true at all since most dislike Chinese and Japanese Entertainment. Real thing not many people know
the reason is simple , for some time bollywood was banned in NorthEastern states of India and during old times when there were no local form of entertainment. people would smuggle pirated Korean movies , songs and dramas from burma and kids would listen to it and since then new generation started liking "Korean Culture" more and more
most might even not know the language completely but would love if they hear it from anyone
you can even ask any North Eastern "do you like BTS or EXO"
It might sound as a taboo to some that liking something which doesn't belong from their country of origin but if one thinks over it , no one can tell you what to like or not since you develop liking something from childhood and its literally useless to tell a small kid what to think and what not.
being open minded and accepting can help you in living a tension and care free life. so feel free to try anything you like without being in fear of others thinking
